Circle Circus card for my swap
I made this card using my new favorite set Circle Circus. I used Pixie Pink, Green Galore and Elegant Eggplant inks and card stock. I also used the 1", 1 1/4", 1 3/8" and the scallop circle punches. I love my punches! Too bad I didn't need to make swap cards this month. Because of the Stampin' UP convention, we are not having our swap. I'll use them for something else! I want some new oval punches so I can use them for backgrounds for greetings. Have a great day! My in-laws are here this week, so I'll do my best to make some more projects to post.

Office Fun
Here are some ideas for making your home office prettier. I plan to get some school themed paper and make some for Rachel's teacher. I got the bookend and paper organizer at Target. The paper is Stampin' Up designer series paper. I think this one is discontinued, but the new Thoroughly Modern DSP on p.163 coordinates with the file folders and gusseted envelopes on p.169. Lovely for any office. I almost forgot! The small thing is a bookmark. What a great (and easy) gift! Include one in a birthday card! I see me making tons of these with scraps.
Here is the bookmark in action. I got this from my SU demonstrator magazine. Instructions:
1. Cut a piece of 4" or 5" square (or larger if you like) out of card stock or DSP.
2. Fold your square in half once horizontally and once vertically to divide it into fourths. (I scored mine instead of folding.)
3. Cut away one fourth of the paper.
4. Fold the two remaining "arms" down and adhere them together creating a pocket that will fit over the corner of a page.
5. Decorate your corner bookmark! I used the 5 petal flower punch p.187, flower fusion p.180 and the rhinestone brads p.179.
If you make any of these projects, let me know!

I'm BACK!!!
Hi ladies,
I'm finally settled in New Mexico! It's been a month since I could be crafty and I am ready. I probably shouldn't place an order tomorrow, but I can't wait any longer for the In Colors and the "D is for Dog" stamp set. To help me post something at least once a week, I am going to participate in a Splitcoast weekly challenge. I'll have it up by next weekend. (Each sketch challenge is posted on Mondays.) I better get to work!
