Office Fun

Here are some ideas for making your home office prettier. I plan to get some school themed paper and make some for Rachel's teacher. I got the bookend and paper organizer at Target. The paper is Stampin' Up designer series paper. I think this one is discontinued, but the new Thoroughly Modern DSP on p.163 coordinates with the file folders and gusseted envelopes on p.169. Lovely for any office. I almost forgot! The small thing is a bookmark. What a great (and easy) gift! Include one in a birthday card! I see me making tons of these with scraps.

Here is the bookmark in action. I got this from my SU demonstrator magazine. Instructions:

1. Cut a piece of 4" or 5" square (or larger if you like) out of card stock or DSP.

2. Fold your square in half once horizontally and once vertically to divide it into fourths. (I scored mine instead of folding.)

3. Cut away one fourth of the paper.

4. Fold the two remaining "arms" down and adhere them together creating a pocket that will fit over the corner of a page.

5. Decorate your corner bookmark! I used the 5 petal flower punch p.187, flower fusion p.180 and the rhinestone brads p.179.

If you make any of these projects, let me know!
